Wheelie Bin Collections
If you register your mobile phone with SODC, you can receive a text message to remind you of changes to collection days due to Bank Holidays or adverse weather conditions. Just text ’waste’ and your normal collection day to 07797 870 370 and you will be sent a reminder the day before your collection. Type in your postcode to find out what bin is emptied this week, or type in the item you want to throw away and Binzone will show you which kerbside bin to throw it in – simple as that!

The villages of Aston Tirrold and Aston Upthorpe have over 20 kms of bridleways and footpaths, stretching from the Ridgeway to the south to South Moreton, north of the villages.
The Parish Council has produced this map of local village walks which is available free to download which you may find useful.
