Astons Artists

The Astons have a strong creative network, with a history of coordinated exhibitions in May Oxfordshire Artweeks. We call ourselves, loosely, ‘Astons Artists’, and support each other with our experience, contacts and publicity.

In Oxfordshire Artweeks 2026 eight of us exhibited in three attractive garden settings, over two weekends. It was wonderfully friendly and uplifting, with a record 600 visitors warmly appreciating what we do and the village surroundings.

Susanna Brunskill’s paintings were in her cottage garden studio at Twitten in Aston Street, with the pottery of Mel Edwards, recently moved from Wiltshire.  susannabrunskill.uk  potsaboutpottery

Anna Dillon needs no introduction here - her paintings were in her studio at Heathersage in Aston Street, with those of Rebecca Carrozza, both part of the Springline project. That was with Hedley Thorne’s aerial photography too.  annadillon.com  rebecca-carrozza.co.uk  hedley_thorne

Caroline Vivian showed her paintings again in her barn at Finches, Baker Street, with the wood engravings of Deb Sutcliffe and the ceramics of Sarah Keogh.  carolinevivianart  debsutcliffe.co.uk  sarahkeoghceramics

We were again cooperating with the Blewbury exhibitors in Artweeks and so here was their side of our combined flyer
