Free IT advice is available at Astons Online events where we aim to encourage everyone to be confident, effective and safe users of the Internet and on-line services.
Everyone is welcome at events especially people from nearby villages of Blewbury, Chilton, Cholsey, Goring, North & South Moreton, Streatley and Upton; there is no attendance charge.
The events are held in Astons Village Hall usually on the third Tuesday of each month between 10 am and 12 noon coinciding with the weekly Astons Cafe. Our volunteer tutors welcome all kinds of computer and user problems at the workshops where issues are assessed, analysed and, mostly, solved on the spot. We can also help with formal training courses, some of which are free.
The workshops' atmosphere is always friendly, engaging and inclusive. At about 10:30 during every workshop we have an informal discussion, initially on an advertised topic but often digress into other matters that interest our visitors.
