Change to Thames Valley Police Number.Thames Valley Police changed to a new national single non-emergency number on 14 November 2011. The new number is 101 and will eventually replace 0845 8 505 505. Either number can be used until the end of March 2012 when the 0845 number will cease to operate. Calls to 101 by either landline or mobile network will cost 15 pence per call no matter what time of day, or the length of the call.


Wheelie Bin Collections. If you register your mobile with SODC, you can receive a text message to remind you of changes to collection days due to Bank Holidays or adverse weather conditions. Just text ’waste’ and your normal collec-tion day to 07797 870 370 and you will be sent a reminder the day before your collection.
